VENZEZIA ITALIA

One of the reasons venice is the perfect place to get utterly and completely lost is that while sneaking away from the buzzy, touristy narrow alleyways and cobbled streets, you will always find yourself unexpectedly in the most beautiful corners of this city.

Gondolas are the one of most recognisable symbols of venice. Not everyone thinks about how they are made with enjoying the ride, but that actually is an interesting fact. Each gondola is made of eight different types of woods. Left side is always bigger than the right one, and the parts of gondolas are symbol of venice - front par represents six city zones, back part - island of Guideka and the central part - Rialto Bridge. There are 350 and 400 gondolieri in the floating city of Venice.

its all about romance in this floating city.

When streets of Venice are flooded.

Burano is the cheeriest little island. All the houses follow a special colour pattern, dating to the island 'golden age' when it was still developing. Anyone who lives on Burano and wishes to paint their house different colour first has to ask the government for permission

Parallel worlds

Wherever you look, every corner of Venice looks like a painting.

Burano gets flooded as much as Venice during certain times of the year.

The little island is situated about half an hour by boat from venice and is probably the most colourful place in the whole world. Burano's traditional industry is fishing and used to be its biggest business. Legend has it that fisherman painted their houses bright colour so that when they come home in fog they could know whose house was whose and avoid crashing into the shore after a voyage at the sea.
