STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN

Stockholm is the capital of Sweden with a perfect combination of good old traditions and modern trends.
Cosy cafés and exclusive restaurants, world-famous Scandinavian brands and small local shops, crowded nightclubs and pristine oases right inside the city

Gamla Stan or Old Town attracts more tourists than any other area of Stockholm  you'll find really interesting tourist-free places full of locals... Amusement parks, main symbols of the city, pedestrian streets, beautiful gardens and cave-live underground. The city is perfectly clean and tidy

Swedish design and quality are known all around the globe. So you definitely just can't leave the Stockholm without buying something beautiful for yourself and your loved ones, it's just inevitable :) luckily the best shopping spots of the city can be explored during one pleasant walk. Stockholm is a safe city by international standards. For 2011 it was named as the the 6th safest country in the world to live so feel safe you are in the right place

There is a wide selection of guided tours available by boat, by bus/taxi and foot.. With the use of boat, the price range starts from 150SEK (50min) to 400SEK (3hrs 30mins) it all depends on the time range tho.. By using taxi which might me more convenient for most people but usually not as cheap as using a bus, bike or boat the price range starts 900SEK to 1200SEK

With about 80,000 university students at more than 20 universities and university colleges, Stockholm is  the largest Nordic university cities. Study in Stockhom has information about universiyies studies in Stockholm, so for all you students trying to pursue your bsc or masters degree you just found the perfect place to school, there are more cities in Europe that grant you this opportunity and not to forget they are extremely cheap compared to schooling in Canada, UK and US.

You might want to dedicate a whole day of your trip to Stockholm metro. It's three lines offer a lot of interesting stations. The blue line is famous for its rocky cavy station like how cool can it get right. The red and green one are also full of surprises. For example, Odenplan station, built half a century ago, features an exhibition booth right in the middle. Stockholm Tram Museum (today on Södermalm Island) was open in bombproof shelter under this station from 1963 to 1989. Today it is glazed tram platform with temporary exhibitions of works by graduates of designer and art institution. The exposition changes once in three month

Lastly let's talk about getting into this beautiful city, Stockholm has four major airport which are; Arlanda airport, Bromma airport, Skavsta airport and Västerås airport..
Stockhom is definitely worthy of being your travel destination so go ahead and plan that trip you might just find countless opportunities there ;)
